Five years after their announced that they were going on an "indefinite hiatus," Swedish sleaze rockers BACKYARD BABIES are back and are working on a new studio album for a 2015 release. The band has also been confirmed for next year's edition of the Sweden Rock Festival, set to take place June 3-6, 2015 in Sölvesborg, Sweden.
Although JUDAS PRIEST is his primary focus for the foreseeable future, vocalist Rob Halford hasn't ruled out making more solo albums when time permits. Rob's last CD with the HALFORD band, "Halford IV - Made Of Metal", came out in September 2010 and was the follow-up to 2009's "Halford III - Winter Songs", which was the singer's first solo release in more than seven years.
During a brand new interview with Orlando, Florida's News 13 POISON singer Bret Michaels was asked about the band's upcoming tour. "In 2015, we — as POISON — I'm thinking — not officially going on record, but rumoring — I'm going to say probably after Memorial Day weekend. But, for us, to keep it fresh, if we can't write new songs and we just become an act that just plays the old hits and nothing but the old hits, it's gonna start getting a bit old."
Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley was interviewed on the latest episode of "One On One with Mitch Lafon". Asked why he thinks KISS leaders Paul Stanley continue to bash him in interviews, Frehley said: "I think they're compelled to put me down because I quit the group and they're constantly bombarded by KISS fans who're saying, 'Bring Ace back.
